Good morning all!  We are here in Albertville having our morning coffee & getting ready for yet another day of French! We had a great “Vacances Toussaint” (All Saints Vacation) and are now back to classes. We were able to travel with Hannah to Strasbourg, France during our time off. It was a lovely city and we were able to put our French language skills to work! Hannah is doing well at Black Forest Academy. Keep us in your prayers – French is getting really difficult!

I’m forwarding the message below from UW River Falls Swim & Dive Coach, Bill Henderson.  GOOD NEWS!!!

I am pleased to report that the Athletic Committee voted to keep the swimming and diving team by a vote of 6 – 1. I do not know who the vote was for suspending the program but it was not AD Bowen as he did not vote. I wish it could have been unanimous in our favor but it is still a bold statement for our cause. So, the recommendation/vote and a report goes onto the chancellor and he will, hopefully, be making his decision just before Thanksgiving. This is a positive step but not the final call. Keep your fingerscrossed and continue to encourage your family and friends to writethe chancellor and tell our story!

 Dean Van Galen – (Chancellor)

We were very pleased to hear such great news. Raymon’s next meet is against Lawrence University this Saturday, November 14 at 1:00pm. It is a HOME meet – so it is being held at River Falls High School, 818 Cemetery Road, River Falls, WI  54022. We hope some of you can be there to cheer Raymond on!

God’s blessings,

Jack & Cathy
