I can hardly believe that I just typed those words! It was a long time coming but the day has arrived. We leave today from Minneapolis at 3:40pm and should arrive in Bamako, Mali on Wednesday, December 8 at about 2:50pm (CST). We are not sure how reliable our communication will be, but we will do our best to stay in touch. You can expect blog updates and email newsetters. Thanks so much for your support and prayers – you bless us and we wouldn’t be doing this without all of you! Will you pray for us?

– For good communication methods so we can stay in touch
– For Raymond & Hannah as they enter finals week at their universities
– For peace in Guinea & for the borders to officially re-open
– For Maninka language helpers for both of us
